There’s no need to scan your ticket at the gates—just show it to the station staff at the manual gate.
With this pass, you can also ride Seibu’s local trains (except for the Tamagawa Line) as much as you want all day long. It’s perfect for exploring freely along the route—budget-friendly and hassle-free!
Ride the Stylish “Laview” Express Train Straight to Chichibu

The journey from Ikebukuro to Seibu-Chichibu Station takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once you step off the train, you’ll find the Chichibu Tourist Information Center right outside the station.

Once you arrive in Chichibu, it’s a great idea to begin your adventure with a quick prayer at Chichibu Shrine—for a safe and smooth trip ahead.
This is the region’s most iconic shrine, with a rich history dating all the way back to 86 AD.
The shrine features several animal guardian carvings like monkeys, owls, and dragons—each carrying its own symbolic meaning.
One of the most unique elements is a carving of three monkeys on the western side of the main hall.
