Table of Contents

New products have arrived at Japanese convenience stores for spring 2025. At the start of the season, it wouldn’t be complete without strawberry- and sakura-themed desserts.

Pink-colored desserts are blooming across store shelves. LAWSON has introduced seasonal strawberry-themed items, including an updated version of its signature pudding.

Meanwhile, 7-Eleven has launched its spring 2025 product sakura-themed. FamilyMart isn’t staying behind either, offering special collaboration products with the Doraemon movie and new varieties from its partnership with Thunder chocolate.

Each convenience store is competing for customers’ attention with their own unique themes.

1. LAWSON – New Strawberry Desserts for Spring

New Uchi Café products from LAWSON have arrived! Bringing a springtime vibe, LAWSON is launching three new strawberry-based desserts.

The “Uchi Café Strawberry Tiramisu” features a beautiful pink gradient, combining biscuits soaked in sweet and tangy strawberry syrup with smooth tiramisu cream.

Wagashi (traditional Japanese sweets) also gets a refreshing twist.

The “Uchi Café Strawberry Condensed Milk Warabi Mochi” pairs soft, chewy mochi with a fresh, tart strawberry sauce, creating a delightful fusion of Japanese and Western flavors.

Another must-try is the signature Uchi Café dorayaki, known for its soft and chewy pancake layers.

The new “Uchi Café Dorayaki with Cream & Strawberry Sauce” is generously filled with strawberry milk cream and strawberry sauce—perfect for strawberry lovers.

In addition, there are also new products made with premium strawberries from Tochigi Prefecture, featuring the “Tochiaika(とちあいか)” variety. Strawberry enthusiasts should definitely check out LAWSON soon!

2. LAWSON – Updated Classic Pudding Series

LAWSON’s original Uchi Café pudding line has been revamped. The classic pudding is now even better, made only with eggs, milk, and sugar, with no chemical additives, offering the natural taste of fresh ingredients.

Along with it, three new custard-based desserts are also being released: a classic dorayaki sandwich filled with pudding, a thin-skinned cream puff filled with soft custard, and a crispy pudding pie. Each item offers different textures and flavors – definitely worth trying!
